Persephone, the daughter of Demeter and Zeus, is the Greek goddess of spring, vegetation, and the Queen of the Underworld. According to myth, she was abducted by Hades and taken to the Underworld, where she became his wife. However, her mother, Demeter, the goddess of agriculture, mourned her absence, causing the earth to wither and bringing about winter.

A compromise was reached: Persephone would spend part of the year in the Underworld and the rest above ground. Her return to the surface each spring, often linked to the Ostara, the Spring Equinox, symbolizes natures rebirth, as flowers bloom and life flourishes once more. This cycle of descent and return represents themes of renewal, transformation, and the eternal balance between life and death. Comes with a tumbled garnet!
